How will my photo be used?
Photos taken by University Marketing are used to promote Oregon State University and provide real-world examples of who our students and staff are.
Where will my photo be used?
While a specific location might not be known immediately, photos can be used in various print and digital media pieces. Admissions viewbooks, OSU homepage stories, campus banners, event advertisements, college brochures and the OSU photo library are only a few possibilities.
How long will my photo be used?
We use photos up to five years from the date of the photoshoot, after which we archive them.
Who has access to my photo?
University Marketing has immediate access. Photos that best meet our photo style can be added to the OSU photo library, which can be used by any Oregon State department or unit. No one outside of Oregon State University has access to the photos in this library.
Can I get a copy of my photo?
Photos taken for Oregon State University can only be used by the university. Contact [email protected] if you'd like to inquire about requesting copies.
My photo was taken but I no longer want it to be used by the university.

My photo was used in a piece I'm not comfortable with.
