Tahmiene Momtazi is the Winemaker at Maysara Winery, a winery, vineyard and event space owned and operated by the Momtazi Family in McMinnville, Oregon. She graduated from OSU with a degree in food science and technology and a specialization in fermentation science. Starting in 2005, Tahmiene worked as a harvest intern and then at Kim Crawford in New Zealand. She then returned back to her family’s estate where she has lead the winemaking process since the summer of 2007.
