OSU helps to create food and beverage products through the outstanding faculty, student and alumni expertise. Through the Food Innovation Center, Food Science and Technology, the Astoria Seafood Lab, the Agricultural Experiment Stations, the Oregon Wine Research Institute and other initiatives, OSU helps to develop new products based on Oregon agricultural and marine resources and bring those innovations to market. In all of this, the outcome is critically acclaimed food and beverages, from market-leading microbrews to internationally acclaimed artisan cheeses to some of America's finest wines.
We use opportunities at OSU events to showcase not only the products, but the stories behind their creation and their connections to the University. These efforts are just one way events can help support the University's mission for contributing to a healthy economy.
