URM is proud to host the second annual DAM (Dam Awesome Marketing) Awards as part of the 2019 Brand Symposium. The awards will recognize outstanding achievements in branded marketing and communications from across the university. Awards will be given in the following categories:
Event promotion (posters, invitations, etc.)
Digital communications (social media posts, landing pages, podcasts, blogs)
Advertisements (print, digital, radio, broadcast)
Campaign/Awareness Initiative/Special Project
Publication (brochure, magazine, newsletter, annual report)
Entries will be accepted from any university department, unit or college. You may submit to multiple categories, but can submit no more than two entries per category. University Relations and Marketing projects (including those designed/created on behalf of others) will not be accepted. All entries must be received no later than 5 p.m. on April 3.
All entries must fully address the judging criteria in the submission. A panel of URM staff will review each submission and decide on award winners based on the following:
Marketing goals and objectives of the project, including how the entry advances the university’s strategic priorities
Relevance to audience(s)
Results and metrics to determine effectiveness
Overall quality and creativity, especially use of strong brand messaging, graphic design and photography
Award winners will be announced during the Annual Brand Symposium on April 16.
